Top 10 Things I've Learned Since Being a Full Time Working Mom.

10.) Getting up at 5:15am doesn't suck as much now. The fact that I'm only 32 and okay with this worries me a little bit. Also, going to bed at 8:30pm and being okay with that is even more worrisome.

9.) That means that I have to get at least 8 hours of solid sleep to function now or my brain and body will malfunction. You don't want to know how it malfunctions. Trust me.

8.) Getting up once or twice during the night to tend to a sick or non-sick child sucks. I am conditioned to automatically pop up like a jack-in-the-box when a parent is needed. Yes I know, let Rick do it. But I'm permanently trained. It's hard to let old habits die.

7.) I've learned how to be completely and totally useless when I'm not at work. Lazy, is more like it.

6.) That simply moving around for 7.5 hours straight at least 5 days a week is the best workout and diet in the WORLD. I've lost 20 pounds since being back to work and each day I can, literally, feel the fat melt away.. along with my makeup.

5.) Must.purchase.waterproof.makeup. Or least look at some and then take a long time to decide.

4.) Rick is a much better stay at home parent. No joke. At least in my situation, it works out better. After having the stay at home parent title for 5 years, I guess I got burned out.

3.) I've learned that it's beyond hilarious to come home to a husband who "just needs to get out because I've been with the kids all day".. haha so now you understand my dear.

2.) I've learned that it's also beyond hilarious to realize that I have to come home to my "second job"... and then clean some more. The only differences between the messes as my job and at home are... well... not much actually.

1.) That I am so fucking lucky to have a job.
