a must see movie about the beginning of the shunt for heart patients...

I watched this movie about 2 months before Natalie received her Glenn Shunt October 2007.. it saved me from worrying as much. I remember learning so much and being moved so much due to this movie.. it helped me prepare for the inevitable. The movie also touches alot on the issue of racial discrimination. Mos Def's acting is superb as well as Alan Rickman (the only thing this movie is missing is "yippee kay yay...") Outstanding movie that everyone needs to see!
