Not me! Monday

It's Monday and you know what that means?? It's not just a day where you're thrown back into your daily grind, nope not all.

*I most certainly did NOT spend the past few days trying to reason with a 2 year old with why the binky is a bad idea. These past few nights of her being without it have NOT been easier than ever before. She has NOT kicked the habit. I did NOT get giddy with pure joy.

*I did NOT get suddenly sad yesterday when I realized that James is going to be 4 years old in less than 2 weeks. I do NOT feel really old.

*Our "Charlie Brown" tree is totally NOT leaning backwards and not supported by leaning on the wall. Definitely NOT. The kids also did NOT knock it down right before we left for Thanksgiving dinner Thursday.

*Speaking of Thanksgiving, James played outside with his Aunt Donna for a little bit, while the rest of sat inside my Mom's living room, pants unbuttoned, digesting the tasty turkey goodness. James and Donna did NOT overhear some "monkey noises" (aka "Thanksgiving dessert time?") coming from someone's bedroom window and James most definitely did NOT mimic those sounds loudly. We also did NOT encourage him to make those sounds when he came back inside and laugh hysterically.
