Natalie's PT progress

Natalie has come such a long long way to where she is now. Anyone out there that's familiar with how quickly kids grow up knows what I mean even when we compare a one year to a two year old. There is a world of difference. Between the budding independence, physical and mental strengths that emerge, all the way down to the notsofun toddler tantrums it's really amazing how quickly they grow up. And Natalie has really come a long way as a toddler and with her physical challenges that she had to deal with right as she was enrolled in our local Infants and Toddlers Program.
She went from sitting up and playing with toys in a immobile position to now running after James. As I type this, I can't help but get a lump in my throat.. lol It has been such a long road but thanks to everyone that's helped Natalie and with Natalie's strength and persistence and brave nature, the road wasn't as bumpy as I thought it would be. In fact, it was very smooth.

We move to Denver in 17 days.
Once we arrive and get at least a little settled with a regular address which will be within a week , she will re-enroll in the Denver Infants and Toddlers program until she's 3. It's cool to hear Ms. Fran, our physical therapist that has been seeing Natalie since July of 2008, say that there's no real rush because she's moving along so quickly and just about caught up to her age level. And I give gratitude to one more person here other than to Ricky, Ms.Fran, our family, everyone else.. but there is one little person who doesn't realize the impact they've had on Natalie to get her going so quickly.. it's James. Natalie wants to model James alot of the time so he has helped tremendously and still gives her the occasional, "good job Natawie!" Couldn't have said it better myself..

So I leave you with these photos from our last PT session with Ms. Fran..

(classic slight grumpiness from James.. lol)
