Now, that self-portrait took on a whole new picture for me once I read about what it was. Kids really can have some amazing innate art abilities that we tend to stifle by imposing our own ideas on them. I remember my son taking photos at the zoo one day when he was young and I stifled my desire to say to him that he was doing things wrong - he was too far away from the object he was photographing, or whatever. Imagine my surprise that he had taken lovely compositions that I just could not have done from my preconceived point of view.

I can def. see a face in James Self portrait! WHo knows maybe one day he will become an abstract artist! :-) Awesome Art work!
