Happy 3 year blogaversary to us!

Wowza.
3 whole years. Craziness.

When I first began this blog, I wanted to document different things about my pregnancies and any other happenings. I remember looking at Blogger and being so excited about the concept of blogging (at the time I called it journaling..lol). I wanted to originally make a website (free preferably) and could not for the life of me find anything free and decent AND easy to use. So, we began this blog thing and kept it up for 3 whole years... to this day.
We started it so we could keep in touch with the many many many friends and family members that live allover this USA. And the same still holds true. And somehow we made new friends along the way ..other bloggers who I can identify with in so many ways, and I feel so lucky to have that. It's sounds so simple and probably so cliche..but for me (especially as a first time mom in 2005 and 2006) I don't know what I would have done without having other people to identify with. Having your first baby is so darn tough..and I got through it like millions of other moms. With more gray hair and sore jaws from clenching them during the tantrums..but that's alright. It's worth it. And even now..we get to clench our jaws through the TANTRUM DUO.
Ricky never updates, which is totally fine, so it's always been up to me to physically sit down, type, and make sure to hit "publish post". But he is still great at remembering things to blog about and he loves reading our comments. Because hey, when you have TWO tiny toddlers, you're lucky to find time to eat and sleep..and blogging, well that kind of takes the back burner a lot of the time now. I still forget to update with the little things that are going on this household..so many things I can't even remember. But these little things pile up into big things.
So, for that I pledge to update alot more (I know...here I go again....) and keep this blog going for at least another 3 years.

Unless Google comes up with something even better than Blogger..and well, who knows. lol
